Its purpose is to accomplish more widespread and lasting conservation by lowering its costs, revealing its benefits and fitting it within genuine economic development. This group will develop, support, and defend objective conservation solutions that create economic opportunities today, while maintaining and improving our natural environment for tomorrow. The key goal of this group is to establish Conservation Economics as a widely accepted category of entrepreneuric activity supported by favorable public policy and, forming a scalable and replicable model.
